I'm pretty certain Record Peddler is long gone : ) .. as is Vortex .. and Art & Trash : ( ... but, I digress
Neil Young said something to the effect of digital is/was the death of music, and I believe he oversaw the remastering of his latest "greatest hits" release [as well as some] earlier HDCD release - he's a picky fellow, that Neil.
I've managed to get some stuff online, as I didn't want to be trekking around on boxing day ... not sure as to the justification in that. These two have always been good :
www.musicstack.com
www.gemm.com
but now that I'm finally getting back to vinyl I ordered some stuff from here
www.musicdirect.com
and yeah, I grabbed Neil's latest & PJ elsewhere ... from 'Friday Night In San Francisco' to 'Sunday at the Village Vanguard' ... I'm thinking Bill Evans and friends at 45 rpm 200g will sound sublime
My question is, should I have to reset my tonearm, when switching to 160, 180 & 200 gram *shrugs*
