Vacation=Toronto or Florida

Seems dumb huh but me lives in "getto" Michigan, lol. You go to work and get drunk here, anything else you are just looking to get ripped off or busted-or both.

For $600 I could fly non stop from Detroit to Tampa the first week of Feb and rent a car and stay at a 2 1/2 star hotel 15 mins away from the public beach for 6 nights. This is all off Hotwire which has never let me down yet.

Or I could wait until March like and hop on a Greyhound bus and go to Toronto for like the same--well cheaper if I go 2 1/2 star hotel for 6 days.

Clearwater (Tampa) has the beach but $800 an hour escort prices (for hotties I could find in Toronto) at least that is the web price. Maybe I could find $600--whatever escorts would be out if I went to Florida, not worth the price and risks. But I get a nice tan and laying on the beach all day is free and downtown Tampa strip clubs are pretty good (no drinking or smoking but full nude $10 cover last I knew) Yeah no menu either most likely but great dancing.

I'm torn. Half of me says go to Florida and enjoy the weather, the other half says go to Toronto and Florida when I'm in my 60's (mid 40's now)

I went a few years back to Tampa and really liked it but having second thoughts on going again but the price seems great...later on in Feb the rental car prices skyrocket and I need a car there.

Toronto's too cold man. How about Costa Rica? You could go to costa rica and pay 70-100 dollars for a tica.

I would prefer Toronto to Florida any day, but if you throw in Costa Rica as option 3, I'm heading there! $600 to fly, a good room for $69 (nice price, I say), and as the above said, $70 a hit or $100 toda la noche.

The one risk with the Florida plan is that there is no guarantee that you'll have good weather at that time of year. If you get there and it's not beach weather, you'll be very disappointed.
For a pure hobbying vacation, I'd stick to Toronto, or even consider Montreal.
But also check out some of the last minute deals you could get to places like Costa Rica. If you're not overly fussy about where you go, you can sometimes get great last minute prices. Some of the Cuban and Dominican hot spots have very good weather and great hobbying.

Yes its cold now but first week of Feb might be--should be much better.

Cuba is out, I live in the "free USA" were I face a big fine if I go and no USA flights there-or few and $$$.

I'm leaning to Toronto, my time is somewhat flexible and can wait until a thaw comes, well 5C sure beats this weather right now.

Heck its the beach VS hotties, as for C.R. not sure but think I want to avoid flying in and out of the USA, Greyhound bus was cool crossing the Detroit border last time.

It depends what you want.

If you want to hobby - Toronto is superior to any American city. $250 an hour gets you a Baywatch caliber woman and you do not have to worry about getting your ass busted.

If you want weather - well, that's a no-brainer.

Me, I would go to Florida now, and Toronto in May, June, July, August, or September

I would forget mainland North America, if you're really looking for nice weather.

Try Hawaii, if you're looking for really nice weather, and don't want to leave the US.

Other than that, I would just say "fuccit" with the weather, and assume that it's going to suck anywhere you go.

So with weather out of the consideration, concentrate on what you really want to do, and then make your decision.

If no beach then its clubs and action. Hawaii would cost waay more that $600 for 6 nights.

Its Toronto I really believe, I need a break from stuck up gals. I should be thankful in a way I don't live in Chicago or elsewhere. In 5 hours I be on Front street being drop off across from Union Station. (with no car to worry about or pay to park, why I take Greyhound bus)

True / well there are clubs and Younge and Bloor area I have a blast in but true Florida is fun as well.

But $$ Toronto looks cheaper (for just getting there and a hotel room plus no need for a car with a TTC weekly pass)

Toronto does have boat tours but not til late spring.

In the summer its a no brainier, Toronto for sure..maybe the lake water isn't as clean but.

Winter stinks, come on global warming, what is taking so long!

With the over the top security at US airports, I would pick Toronto anytime. In fact, under the present situation, any place in the world is better than USA, particularly if you are travelling by air.

I voted Florida. You live close enough to Toronto that you can come here on a whim, any time of year, for the price of a bus ticket and a hotel room. Florida is harder and more expensive to get to, and its nicer to visit the beach in winter than Toronto. So....go to the beach, hang around, try your luck at the barflies but if you strike out, just jerk off, have a pina coloda and go lie on the beach. Toronto you can come to any weekend you want.

ps. you can also hit Vegas for way cheaper than Florida. No beach, but sunshine and loose women (try the Rio, the Gold Coast or any of the downtown hotels). I bet you can get flight and a week's hotel from Detroit for less than 5 bills. You don't have to gamble, either. Just walk around the resorts, see some free shows, eat and hit on loose chicks.

Why would l want to sublet my room to other SP or Terb gents while they frolick around in the bed where I would be coming back to sleep in, fresh sheet or not. It is pretty dumb
