Michael Anthony has never replied to not being part of the reunion and any such comments about Wolf in the band now. The fact Ed wants his son in the band goes deeper than you think and it starts with the respect or lack of, from Anthony!Venus_mgr said:

Just when you thought things couldn't get any more bizarre in the world of Van Halen, they have. It seems as though the tour that was originally scheduled for this summer has been put on hold indefinitely, according to various news sources. Surprised? Well not really. This is the type of thing we have come to expect from these guys. The reasons for the holding pattern are unknown, but it is speculated that David Lee Roth had not yet signed on the dotted line when the announcement was made. There is also speculation that the band, who has a chemistry as volatile as 100 year old nitro glycerin, has had a falling out of some sort. We're sure that's shocking news to all of you.
We would like to point out that no official response on this "news" has been made by anyone associated with the band. The band's Official Website still shows the original announcement on their front page.
Having said that, my sources say the David Lee Roth led Van Halen tour is still happening this summer! Just a small glitch with a some early tour dates were the problem. I will not say what they were, but I will say it has nothing to do with any infighting or anything like that. They are all on the same page and working great together, in fact maybe as good as ever.
That message that was out there the other night was misleading to say the least.I just wanted to let you all know that to clear the air.
