It will be QUEENS GAELS vs Calgary Dino's next week in the VANIER CUP in Laval P.Q. How ironic that it is in LAVAL!!!!!!!!!

The Queens-Laval game was a great game!!!!!!

No its NOT an NCAA football "factory" League but OUR boys playing for fun !!!! Maybe "some" will get drafted into the CFL in the spring but for the most part many players have played their LAST game this fall which to me is a real shame. The CFL is pondering LOWERING the Non Import ie: MORE US players iI say let more CANADIAN kids get a shot at playing!!!

I have often wondered why the Vanier isn't played on the same weekend in the same place as the Grey Cup. Imagine going to the Vanier on Sat afternoon then party Sat nite then going to the Grey Cup on Sunday. THAT would be great!

Queens was lucky that Laval was slow to wake up. The Gaels looked pretty lame in the last quarter. i really wanted Queens to win, but you had to be impressed with the way Laval came back in the 4th.

Queens/Laval was a fantastic game.
is CIS using the same refs as international soccer?? some of those calls against Laval were shocking!!! that 25 yard pass that Queens completed where the receiver was clearly out of bounds and didnt even have control of the ball but it still counted!!!

and what the hell was that thing with the idiot Queens fans taking their jackets off and slamming them on the field??

Laval is used to steamrolling over teams the last few years. Queens gave them a real game..They havent played each other since the re-alignment of the League a few years ago.

Another point regardiing Laval and many of the Quebec Conference teams that are doing so well. They have private sponsorship money running their athletic programs. Their athletes are also 2/3 years older than the Ontario athletes.

How can the CIS allow that to happen? Aren't the teams-schools "supposed" to be on a level playing field?

Simon Fraser University has been doing it for years. They used to play in the NAIA (USA).

Hey Ron Joyce and Dave Braley built a brand new stadium at MAC.

They've been doin' this on the East Coast and Western Conferences for years.

Ontario's been way behind.

This afternoon's game was another close affair. Essentially a tale of two halves, the Calgary Dinos won the first half 25-7 and Queen's the second, 26-6.

Queen's won its 4th Vanier Cup, and third consecutive play-off squeaker, 33-31.

What's the sport of Kings...

Well, good for Queens.

They'll finally have something to celebrate in a town more known for its fruitful & numerous penitentiaries & the now-permanent hometown of Paul Bernardo & Clifford Olsen.

Those obnoxious & elitist Queens students though, can go F themselves. They're almost as pretentious as the UWO crowd.

It was a fantastic game. Calgary had too many turnovers, and Queens took advantage of them.

Great game but too bad we missed some of it.

TSN was a joke yesterday.
Kept losing their feed from Quebec City.
Missed several of the early TD plays and the 2 point conversion.
Kept apologizing over and over and over.
Really lame.
