Is it possible to get one of those from a walk-in clinic? I'm kind of in a bind and wondering where I could get a prescription on a Sunday.. and it seems walk-in clinics are the only place open on Sundays

Probably not. Usually the doctor needs a history before they will prescribe medication

I get around.
I'd like to hear the explanation for why you need a Rx for this and cannot wait until Monday to see your regular GP. "It's an emergency, doc, you gotta believe me!"

Many people don't have a family doctor, so the doctor at a walk-in can't assume you have a history anywhere. Phrasing it as an emergency would sound strange, but going to a walk-in for this kind of thing is normal.

Yes you can get a script for v or c from a walkin. They are not lesser doctors and the main thing is you don't have high BP. You can say you wish to try it out to see if it improves your going softo (aka not being able to maintain a boner)
Be truthful about your blood pressure and any other questions asked or you could be in some deep shit like massive headaches, 2hr hard ons and not so nice side effects

Terb seems to be full of 2 bit couch potatoes that have no experience, its sad.

Yeah, it surprises me that guys who jump into seeing SP's are hesitant to walk into a clinic (or phone for that matter) to ask for a prescription (and that's where I go for mine btw).

You were able to phone somebody for a prescription for ED pills?

Yeah, pray tell!

The reason I asked this question originally was that I went into a walk-in clinic that I had visited before. Yet the doctor gave me such a third degree like I was asking for a narcotic pill. Finally, he relented after I answered all the questions about the medication I was currently on, etc, but only gave me a script for 4 pills. What's that all about. So, I was wondering are other walk-ins as sticky about it, before I make another attempt.

If you're young and don't have a family doctor, they won't give you a prescription at a walk in clinic. You'll need to book with a doctor and likely undergo a battery of tests (full physical and blood test for diseases etc).

When you're young, they think you may just be trying to obtain the drugs to sell on the black market.

If you're middle aged, it's probably quite easy to get a cialis prescription at a walk in clinic.

No, I meant I called first to ask if the walkin clinic's doctor would prescribe Viagra, and when they said yes I went in and saw the Dr. Got the prescription no prob.

I'm 34 and can have trouble getting an erection because of the stress of the situation. With an SP I rarely am able to maintain an erection.. I keep thinking shit like "Oh good, you got it.. Now don't fucking lose it.." and then I stress about it to the point where I'm no longer enjoying myself and just focused on my erection (or lack thereof).. Often I'll blow my wad with a half erect penis.. Then after my 1st SOG it's next to impossible to get into play again (even though I'm horny as hell).

I know Viagra is more geared towards people who have physical trouble getting an erection, but I know on their website they indicate that it can help with the stress factor as well. My only concern is that I'll go to a doctor and they'll focus on the fact that I'm otherwise healthy, and won't give me the prescription (which would make me feel embarrassed for asking).

Concerns like yours kept me from asking, and kept me experiencing situations like you described for far too long. However, from a guy now twice your age, Viagra deals with bloodflow and pressure, not the stress that may affect them. Dealing with that's for you, and/or another sort of doctor.

Whether it's an SP or an MD, try focussing on you being the customer who's always right, and behaving entirely reasonably while they are the service provider entirely willing to accommodate your needs as best they can within their practice. It's what they're both in business to do, and you're there to ask (politely and reasonably) for anything you think that will help. That's why you went to a professional instead of well-meaning amateurs. And the thing about pros is, even if this one can't help, another may.

But do read the literature closely—all those ED pills just physically facilitate the erection that the sexual stimulation provokes. The lowered blood-pressure may feel like calmness and unstressful self-possession, but letting your mind wander into misgivings and self-doubt will undo the work of any pill. Cardiac wards are full of such folk who 'overcame' the benefits of their meds. And I myself know, Viagra™ offers no guarantee, if the mind isn't right.

See what the pills do when/if you get the prescription; unless there's some contrary medical condition, there's no reason not to let an otherwise healthy non-erectile male at least try. But don't let yourself avoid the work you need to do convincing yourself that both docs and doxies—to say nothing of this whole big wide wonderful world—are there for you, not against you.

As your mum mighta said, 'Nothing wrong with asking'.

I think if I were able to more easily get (and more easily maintain) an erection, then my stress levels would immediately drop. I think a few successful encounters would be all that is necessary for an ego boost that would help me for all future encounters.

Has anybody tried that Forta they sell at Shoppers Drug Mart? You're supposed to take it 45 min to 1hr before sex and it supposedly lasts 24hr. Its in the vitamin/supplement section. 2tablets for about $15.
