So here is a Vid of night clubs closing down and people not going much specially men. Now I think the numbers are way to off but who knows. Like are there any night clubs in your area from 10 years ago still running /open.

They are shutting down everywhere. It's a combination of factors. Less alcohol consumption dating apps mean less need to go. At the clubs the girls have higher expectations for paid bottle service.

Used to be here in Toronto I would go to a place like The Bovine, or Big Bop, or other smaller venues, and could meet girls just dressed casually, gage interest over 10 minutes then offer up a drink. But it was all reasonably priced so I didn't mind. The girls were also more open to casual dating and willing to give a few chances so long as the initial attraction was there. And I think social media has created a "pickyness" culture and rejection mind set.

Now between the cover charges, 20+ buck a drink, and the reports of how mean the girls can be now(there used to be an understanding that she could politely reject you and as long as you were cool no harm no foul. Now there appears to be much more meanness), the boys are saying fuck it.

GTA & Thereabouts...
In my youth, I found clubbing to be a great way to see hot club chicks, but a terrible way to meet women... While I'm blessed with male-model good looks ;), I needed to talk to women in order to seal the deal. I couldn't do that in a club as I couldn't hear shit or properly interact. The conversations were useless. I was way more successful in smaller bars, etc. where I could work my magic and actually get to know the girl a bit better. Flirty banter was like a drug for me. Women who could do it were such a turn on.

What Butler said. The target audience of guys today (Gen Z and younger millennials) don't drink like prior generations and they seem to be more inclined to online interactions. That's their comfort zone. Plus they don't have the money like older millennials or older generations. They don't have even a $100/150 to go clubbing on a Friday/Saturday night. And they sure as fuck don't have money for bottle service. So if bottle service is the new "floor" well you haven't got much in the way of business opportunity. Older millennials? They aren't interested in bottle service. They want a sit down meal, a bottle of wine and to go home. And you can all but forget about Gen X. The wouldn't even show up if the bottle service was free and the cab fare was pre-paid .
