bleah, borderline censorship... yuck thats really stupid. weirdly, walmart will happily sell weapons to the public [thus promoting realworld violence which is ALWAYS BAD] but covering feminist and fashion magazines??

Sorry it's not always about you...some people with kids in tow are a little uncomfortable with the pics and I think it is time we clean up common areas a bit

Parents can control what their kids watch on tv but not what they see in a line up where they must shop...come on like some 8 year old girl needs some chick that is so hot the magazine is smokin with her legs apart in underwear burnt into her mind...you know there is more to life than f*%^&in...just my opinion
Johnyboy, even though Goober was being a little facetious he makes a good point. Children are going to see this type of stuff anywhere they go, billboards, posters, bra boxes, television, etc, etc, etc.
It is because of all the censorship that people are so friggin repressed in North America.
You wouldn't see a discussion about this going on anywhere in europe. They would totally laugh it off.

censorship is evil. and yes, north americans are incredibly repressed and it really shows. the europeans looked at the clinton/lewinsky thing with utter amusement. sometimes with horror.
i still think its weird that in some parts of the us, you can go to Wallmart, proceed to aisle 3 for the assault rifle, aisle 5 for the ski mask....

Yeah but if Walmart wants to portray a family image cannot we respect that also.....the race to the bottom..i can see the finish line..cannot anyone see how sexual young girls are...is there something wrong with being a kid....there is lot's of time for the other stuff...

If people are so sexually repressed that they feel they need to protect their children from the images on these magazines then their children are going to have to live very sheltered lives. Have you been to the beach, public pool, park, etc. lately. Everywhere you look you can see women wearing far less clothing than the women on these magazines.
