Yes spit can transmit bacteria. It is difficult but not impossible. HSV can -usually- only be transmitted during an outbreak. Though there is the risk of an outbreak happening that someone is unaware of. But again slim chances.
There is always a risk. You have to determine what the risk is worth to you.

Ofc, this is what many assume (hope?) to be the case, but since there is no standard across the industry everyone can use labels as they please. Some have misused "safe" to mean "no services rendered", or near that lol, effectively rendering the term safe-GFE meaningless, at least in the wild wild west of LL. I would assume the Toronto Agencies could do a better job of forming and adhering to a common standard, but this is Ottawa.

I agree, I may use GFE in my first text to a lady, but if she says yes, my next text is very detailed about the services I require. That is when you get the real answers....or they say yes to everything and its a bait and switch when you arrive....

Thanks. This is informative and very helpful. From reading elsewhere in the forum, teletest.ca was also suggested where they can send you test kit or lab requisition.

To my knowledge in Ontario, there's a system where lab results are available online and can be accessed through ConnectingON or other electronic medical record systems. These systems are accessible by health professionals and hospitals and I don't think general public can access it.

My question however, would test results for STI done thru hassle free clinic or other similar ones be shared on these platforms? Is there a way to keep this info local and not shared province wide?
