The reason, The Blues Brothers introduced me to an era of music before my time. I probably would have missed Steve Winwood's early output without them. Dan Aykroyd is one of Canada's best comic/character actors, if you haven't seen The Arrow (about the Arvo Arrow) you're missing something.
Such a great song written by Canadian Leonard Cohen. The best version I have heard, IMHO, was at the 2010 winter Olympics in B.C at the opening ceremonies sung live by KD. LANG, who I happen to think that she is currently the best Canadian female singer. I have never heard a live performance anywhere better than than.
