From a client perspective:
- Being robotic over text
- Responding later is understandable, but not responding at all however...
- Over abundance of pictures showcasing praise and "reviews" from supposed clients over text messaging. (Could be fine, but also incredibly easy to fake)
- Trashing clients over their social media (I've found this type of attitude towards clients is typically indicative of the type of service you'll get)
- Being incredibly unsocial or just having a shit attitude in general (A great example in my case - One SP who made no conscious effort to talk, and when she did it was to say she wants more money and how she hates the place she's currently working...)
- Asking for a deposit, but without having any reviews or reputation. I'm perfectly fine with sending a deposit if I know the SP in question has a demonstrated history of reliability and trustworthiness.

Now looking at the other end, I continue to be flabbergasted by the gripes that SPs have and endure with a concerningly large amount of their clients. I think a majority of dudes just think they can throw etiquette and subtlety out the window because they're buying their way into an SP's graces. But like, it doesn't work that way and I find it fucking ridiculous how many different stories I hear about clients acting like total fucking morons when working with an SP. How hard is it to read basic information off the ads you look at, or to be cordial with the women that you're trying to bang? In fact, why would you NOT try to be coridal and polite with them? Finding a cool, personable SP and building rapport and connection with them is like half the fun for me.

Current society sucks major ass at communicating and it shows.

A lot of guys don't really like us and their action comes from a place of direspect BUT lots of guys lack basic social skills and this is were you have to make the difference as a provider. And it's very difficult. Not all socially awkward people are bad clients. You cannot shame someone who seeks service because they cannot get away with their awkwardness irl nor automatically blame it on incompetence. People don't realize what a difficult profession sex workers is.

I worry a lot more about the guys who think they are smarter than us than the guy who is just lost. But that's just me.

Amen.

Thank God.

I was mostly tongue in cheek, but it does very much sound like a thing I could say in a well meaning sort of way, lol. I do shove my foot in my mouth on the regular. I get "nice guy", or "seemed perfectly normal", sending up red flags-- I never really considered that for 'fan'. (Though I understand how someone being a true fan-atic about you would be unsettling.)
I am far from perfect either. Lots of things I say I will probably regret later. I'm trying to work on this...but sometimes lol both of my feet are deep in 🙃😩

I think its one reason the ladies like us older blokes because we learned about interacting with women in a face to face world hence had to develop at least some rudimentary social skills.

I love an old gentlemen that romance you a bit. 🤌 chef's kiss.

It's really lacking nowadays but some younger ones still impress me sometimes.

-Asking questions over text that are very clearly answered in my ads and my website

-Improper introduction such as Hi, Hey, U avail, Rates and restrictions, etc...(my ads and website have a simple intro blueprint)

-Carrot dangling (ex. If you give me a discounted rate I will become a regular)

-Bragging about their appearance over text

-Endless questions over a long period of time with no first booking in sight (questions such as "What do you want me to do to you once I'm there?")

-Attempts at pushing boundaries and bbfs requests

Yeah / I forgot about those two. The last one especially. If you start with shit like that, I just block. I'm not here to sext with you.

Showing your face is considered a red flag?

Can I ask why?

I show my face in most of my photos.
I'm guessing a number of the b&s factories do that w the Asian ladies, plus the ladies who steal other ladies Instagram pics, will show faces - because they're not afraid of getting outed cuz it's not their face.

I'd worry more about the advances in face recognition being used these days.

But yer pretty as a peach kitty!

GTA
But why is it a red flag?
As was mentioned by someone else above, I suspect it's because on the more "roll of the dice" classifieds sites the bait and switch operators, and scammers, will generally be face out, with stolen pics. They have no privacy concerns with that, unlike many other sex workers. Face out on photos, especially photos that are a little too pro, with no supporting links to things like socials, and few credible reviews, is a red flag for many. Or at least requires reverse image search, and more investigation, making it a yellow flag for many others. A discerning eye, reverse image search, and research is a lot more work than just saying, "face out and looks a little too good so it's gotta be fake."

When I'm out of the GTA, in smaller cities with no agencies and few reviews, I've had decent luck on classifieds sites (LL) but I "do the work". You'd be a no brainer because there's a lot of supporting evidence that you are you. Many other providers not so much.

Pro tip for sex workers: A single shot with some local merch, or a local landmark, that a middle aged or older local guy would recognize, is a great idea. Maybe throw on that OHL jersey for the local team, or take that selfie in front of city hall. That kind of thing goes a long way to saying, "I'm for real."

I think that a full face pic is a red flag when it is in an ad of an “unknown “ provider. It seems that face pics are a LOT more common in bait and switch type ads that flood sites like LL, compared to ads from legit providers. So showing you face is not itself a red flag, but when looking at a random ad of an unknown provider, the likelihood of a B&S is higher.

My Red Flags in the last 2 months:

- LL postings with fakes pics of porn stars, Onlyfans content creators usually asking for $75 - $150 (I've come across a few) - Google Reverse Images have caught the,.
- Getting you over to their Telegram link so they bait you into e-transferring payments up front, or Apple Gift cards without seeing them, let alone know where in the world they are.
- The best one --> "Hey babe, u legit? what's your zipcode". Asking for a "zipcode" on a Canadian website is a big give away. Obviously we say Postal Codes up here.

I gave one a zipcode in New Jersey, they said I was close by to where they were .. another was given a Barrie postal code ... 5 minutes later they sent a response on their Telegram profile with the closest hotel they were supposedly at. Lol.

- Agencies using the same pics, supposedly for their girls in different locations at the same time. Came across this also.

You almost have to be a detective these days to find the real girls.
