B.S. Women are perfectly capable of distinguishing between what you cal inputs/outputs. And Chantelle's post conspicuously ignored that mechanistic portrayal of yours.

Thank you Charlotte. Perhaps in response to the original poster what all women might agree on is for "stinky" to cleanse his "nuts" so that they are no longer stinky. I am done wit this inanity.

Why are you polling only men about what women really care about? Bizarre. How would they know for sure? While many factors are important, money and good looks are not the most important and don't make for good matches if everything else is incompatible.

A good sense of humour wasn't even listed...and intelligence got 0 votes? Come on now.
I considered sense of humor to be part of "personality" but that's a good point, it should have been it's own category.

And Charlotte, I stand by my claim that good sex is largely an output for women. Seriously. If you met a tall, funny, intelligent guy, with a powerful position, good looks, and a respectable fortune... my guess is it doesn't really matter what he actually does in bed, you're going to think the sex is great.

What a woman says she wants and what she really wants are not always the same.

My experience has been that women want WHAT THEY DONT HAVE.

As soon as they get that they want the next thing JUST AS MUCH.

Case in point:

I hooked up with a woman off the internet who was in a sexless marriage. Everything in her life she said was great except just this one thing. She loved her husband but he would have sex with her maximum once per year. So she specifically told me that that was the one missing piece in her life.

So what happened? We had mind-blowing sex. A few times.

And then suddenly she started chipping away at THIS about our relationship, about THAT, getting involved in areas that was just totally none of her business, getting involved in all sorts of arguments about politics and various social issues. It was like she couldn't stand being satisfied even for a moment.

The media, these talk shows women watch, constantly drive home the message of how good this or that aspect of their lives should be, and when it never is, they get dissatisfied. Forever.

I asked only the guys to vote because I wanted their perspective. Some women will only say what they think is the proper answer (personality, compatility).

I think that if a woman is after your money first, it's probably because she isn't able to make some on her own (lack of knowledge, bad timing, etc). I'm pretty sure all women who are independent (not those who are insecure and who just need a man to make them ''complete'') will want a great guy, with an awesome personality and who's funny (oh yes that can turn someone's appearance around). After that, a good pounding yes, but sex where the man and the woman both listen to each other's needs. But hey, not all women are able to ask for what they want and not all men care enough to ask them in the first place. I know it was a men only convo, but I felt the need to say something :)

Money.
When my wife left me after 25 years, it was even more evident. She couldn't take my good looks with her or my wonderful personality, but that really didn't seem to bother her.

Holy fuck this sounds familiar.

IN THEORY, women are predisposed towards wanting men who enhance their security and the security of their offspring.

So, yes, a man who is great in bed is desirable, because he's probably in good shape, probably has good genes to pass on, and that makes him desirable.

Good looking? Good looking is DEFINED as healthy. Good symmetry, good muscle tone, etc., are all signs of health.

Tall? Big guy? Defined as desirable because they can provide security for women in dangerous times.

Money? A secondary security cue. It's why women will cheat on a rich but dumpy husband with the bouncer from the bar, but are much less likely to cheat on a really in-shape husband with the fat rich guy, unless the fat rich guy is paying.

Sense of humor? A sign of intelligence. Intelligence is something that a woman will instinctually want to pass on to her offspring, so that makes an intelligent man more attractive.

Is this applicable to all women? Of course not. Ever see the movie "Casino"? That happens in real life, where the Sharon Stone type is with some dude that it makes ZERO sense for her to be with, when she's got a guy who is arguably better looking, much wealthier and much more powerful eating out of her hand but she still picks the loser. Women are complicated beings.

BUT, as a whole and statistically speaking women are looking for security. You want to impress a lady?

Behavior: When walking down the street, stand between her and "danger", whether that's traffic or the weird homeless guy. Open the door for her. Pick up the check. AND DON'T MAKE A BIG DEAL OF IT and if it comes up make it perfectly clear that you know she can do it all on her own, and probably better than you can, but that with you around she simply doesn't have to. This shows her, instinctually, that you're a good provider and protector.

Looks: be as tall as you can be. Be as fit as works for you. Some women like bodybuilders, some women like teddy bears - whatever your body pattern, there'll be some women who are attracted to it. Just don't look sickly. Stand tall. Walk with some confidence. Get that 40 year old acne problem taken care of (Accutane or whatever the current version is called), get your teeth straightened out, floss and brush your teeth, trim your fingernails, trim your nose hairs, and shave your damn facial hair if you can't pull off a proper beard/goatee. If you look like a teenager with a whispy little beard, ditch it. Get rid of your double chin some other way, like diet and exercise. Find a good tailor and wear clothes that accentuate your good points and hide your bad points.

Money: Have lots of it. You're going to have to spend quite a bit to do all of the above, and you're going to need more to get anything more done.

Brains: At least learn to fake it, just a little. If you're dumb, learn one (hopefully useful and money-making) thing really, really well. You may be a complete moron when it comes to international politics (...), but if you're really knowledgeable about something that's both interesting to women and financially useful, you can do alright.

You don't have to be attractive to all women. You just have to be attractive to as little as 1% of the women in the world, as long as it's not limited to a 1% population that is universally unattractive to you.

I'm stark contrast to this complicated debate about what women want, guys are relatively simple:

Young. Slim. Pretty. Tits. Ass. Personality.

The only debate is the precise ordering of the first five

for me: pretty, young, nice body (I disagree on slim. I find some chubbiness and curves sexy), ass, legs, tits. personality wise someone who is positive, cheerful, fun, kind, thoughtful, mature, and caring.

I'm disturbed by the votes for "something else". I hope those doesn't represent votes for 'cock size', or I'm in serious trouble.

Ask yourself if Melania Trump (or however you spell her first name) would be married to Donald Trump if he was just Donnie Drumph the plumber from Queens.

The "something else" could be hairstyle....obviously Melania went after DT because of his hair fashion sense.....
