I've had discussions with SPs about this.
Anytime I've ever had a session with an SP, I've shown up dressed to the nines. Hair neatly styled, face shaved, always a pressed shirt, usually a tailored blazer and always polished shoes. In winter, always a pea-coat and scarf. I want to make a great first impression because I know if she's into me, the session will be enjoyable for both of us.
And the best way to make a great first impression is to be neatly polished and dressed well.
SPs will often comment on how they like my sense of style (not bragging here, that's just the way it is) particularly since I live in smaller community where most men dress like utter slobs.
One SP commented to me once how her client the night before had shown up wearing "jams" -- yes, these fugly things kids wore in the 1980s.

The two of us were literally laughing at this guy for thinking it was OK for a grown man to show up for a session wearing f**cking jams.
Imagine a pair of those things matched up with a "BBQ. Beer. Freedom" sleeveless shirt?! LOL
Your Mileage May Vary??
Damned right it does.
