What doesn't the belly go when losing weight?

Yeah I know; esp the one trying to claim you can not concentrate on losing fat from certain areas...
You can't lose fat from specific areas only.

You can lose fat from specific areas

Obviously if you include "only" then of course while you target certain areas you would usually burn fat from other areas as well
The targeted areas should still decrease quicker than non targeted areas but it is impossible to totally isolate

Can you give examples of how you target certain areas to burn fat from?

Wow, you must have a unique body dude! You cannot target fat, it sheds away if you are in a calorie deficit and how it sheds depends on your individual body.

Abs are created in the kitchen! You can do 1000 crunches, take in too many calories and you will never see the abs which are covered in the fat.

Also with males, the gut is usually the first to appear and the last to melt away.

All diets can be simplified to calories in and calories out.
Also, the number one factor in success or failure when dieting is compliance. Find the one that you will be able to use in the long run.

As far as my advice for your situation.
Muscle mass will be the biggest contributing factor to maintaining a healthy metabolism when trying to lose weight. That's why diet and exercise are important in the process, avoiding excessive muscle loss while loosing fat is key. Any drastic diet will make you loose weight fast but will trigger a self defense mechanism equal to starvation mode; lowering your metabolism rate to a minimum, burning muscle for energy and storing fat. That's one of the biggest challenges people have with yoyo dieting and regaining all the weight lost and some.
Learn or pay for a simple diet, track what you eat (there's free apps that help) and weight train, maybe get a trainer if you don't know what you're doing.
As people have said already, there is no such thing as localized weight loss. This will be a marathon not a quick fix.

Maybe you have other undiagnosed issues that are causing bloating, inflammation and swelling of your internal organs and system.
I guess it depends on what the OP meant by "belly". If he is talking about a "boiler", diet and weight loss alone will not correct it. If the stomach distention is being caused by other heath issues (fatty liver, digestive disorders, diabetes) he can lose all his excess fat and still have a protruding stomach. Significant reduction of intake and careful consideration of which foods cause his stomach to overproduce stomach acid will help to shrink the stomach, but even then it will not return to flat if there are underlying issues.

In any event, he'll be healthier to have lost body fat, even if he doesn't achieve the appearance he's after.

Seriously?

Run a couple miles a day and watch more fat loss from legs than rest of body
Do a couple hundred sit ups a day and watch more fat loss from body than legs

Have you never stepped in a gym before?
If one exercise fits all there would be no need for anything other than tread mills since no matter what you did you would lose a uniform amount of fat from all areas of your body

Also for the obvious factor since some people have no common sense; if your body is grossly out of proportion it would be quicker to burn fat from one area than another

YES and NO

Fat loss can be deceptive . . . . . . when we step on the scale or look in the mirror, we can never be 100% sure if we're losing . . . . . . fat, muscle or just water

Eg 1# ---- if we're doing specialized marathon training for a master's IRON-MAN competition and we're killing ourselves with loooooooong grueling workouts + we're keeping ourselves an ultra strict macro, vegan, keto or any other type of severe carb/caloric deficit diet.

100% guaranteed you'll lose weight ---- 100% guaranteed you'll lose muscle, water and maybe fat!

EG 2# ---- If you've got a special event coming up . . . . . . wedding reception, 20 yr high-school reunion, singles/swingers weekend resort, nudist beach summer getaway etc and you want to melt away a quick few pounds before the filthy fun begins.

Tricks of the trade . . . . . . amphetamines/ephedrine - 'speed' (water), diuretics (water), laxatives (water), rubber/plastic sweat suits (water), suana's (water) etc.

So can you spot reduce? Sure . . . . . . just don't expect it to be fat!

Yes, the usual difficulties in trying to lose weight. I see that you have tried many ways to get rid of belly fat. Maybe you should try running. This exercise is for the whole body, very well helps to get rid of excess weight on all parts of the body. After giving birth, I also had a terrible belly, which I could not get rid of, and I was not allowed to run. According to many recommendations, I tried a hardware procedure Lipo Melt, which corrects the contours of the body in undesirable areas and plus perfectly restores health. I was left shocked, because the result was visible after a couple of applications, try it.

I have found that as my overall fat reduces, and I gain muscle, ironically the isolated pockets that remain (for me at least) tend to stick out even more than before!

You can have insanely strong abs under a nice thick layer of fat.

Good article:

More power to you Twister.

I'm attempting to lose weight now, 8 lbs so far. If you want to lose the belly fat, crunches alone won't do it. You have to hit the entire core - all the support muscles. Two exercises that helped me:

Bicycles crunches - with your hands behind your head crunch while simulating riding a bike and move your torso so that your right elbow touches your left knee and vica versa.

Reverse crunch - on a Roman chair work your back muscles. Use your back to move from a perpendicular to horizontal position. WARNING, your back is going to be stiff if you've never done it before. Persevere and your belly will tighten with the added benefit of no more back aches.

Good luck, hope this helps.

I have tried those, and it crushed my testicles. Couldn't make it comfortable.
