I love classic PC games. I just bought the original Tom Clancy' rainbow six/rogue spear games for PC. Also have been playing Clive barker's undying, and the original Hitman games. I have a new PC, but I find myself craving the older games. I can't believe how many awesome PC games were made between 1998 and 2004.

I just couldn't get into Eve online. You level up your skills by...not playing the game? It just didn't feel like a game to me, more like a job. but then again I don't like MMOs in general.

1998-2004 was the golden age of PC gaming. You look at what came out in that timespan, Half-life, Half life 2, Doom 3, Far Cry. Planescape Torment, Starcraft, The Sims, all these great RTS games, Unreal Tournament, Quake, I could go on, and on many new franchises were also born at that time. I just got the Hitman HD Pack on Xbox 360 which includes Hitman 2 Silent Assassin, Hitman Contracts, and Hitman Blood Money. Unfortunately, the original Hitman Code 47 never got a console release. Not really a fan of the Tom Clancy games or military shooter type games in general but I can see why so man people like them. Clive Barker's Undying is an underrated gem that many don't know about it.

I saw Diablo 3 mentioned a few times. Anyone who’s a fan of the genre needs to try Path of Exile. It’s what Diablo 3 should’ve been, it has the best dev team ever, we get massive content updates every 3 months, and it’s 100% free to play (like really free, no bullshit, everything in the cash shop is purely cosmetic or quality of life). A new league just started on Friday, so now’s a good time to give it a go.

Giving a summoner a go this league. Pretty fun running around with my horde of skeletons, zombies, spectres, and golems just tearing stuff apart. Reminds me of the oldschool zoo necros in Diablo 2 back in the day. Still not sure how Blizzard managed to butcher the necromancer in Diablo 3 so badly. Everyone was clamouring for them to bring back the necro, and what they gave us wasn’t even close. It’s like they hate money or something.

Tried it during dev. It was good.

But I just love Diablo still. Play Hardcore For the challenge. And the season themes have finally settled in nicely.

I'm pretty sure they are play testing things for Diablo 4. There is rumour of an announcement at BlizzCon soon.

Give POE another go. It’s a completely different game now. There’s literally like 10x as much content as there was at launch, if not more. Plus more ways to build your character, massive combat improvements, they got rid of the difficulties and we now have 10 acts, tons of new skills and items to play with, I really can’t overstate how much has been added to the game. Blizzard gives us a new D3 league, it’s some balance changes and maybe a new pet or wings for completing the challenges. POE gives us a new league and its new league mechanics, new skills, new unique items, new voiced NPCs, new endgame maps, a huge meta shift... each POE league (which come every 3 months) is what an expansion would have been back in the Diablo 2 days.

Blizzard is dead to me. I’ll be following any potential Diablo 4, but I don’t expect it to be any good. Diablo 3 was a dumpster fire as far as I’m concerned, and nothing Blizzard has done in the past decade or so makes me think they can make (or are particularly interested in making) compelling games anymore. The writing in Diablo 3 was abysmal. They turned it into a saturday morning cartoon. POE, on the other hand, is getting better every league, and GGG has a gigantic 4.0 expansion planned to compete with Diablo 4 that looks like it’ll completely blow D4 out of the water.

I haven't played a game since Doom, too much on my plate.

Funny story from the Howard Stern Show about Red Dead Redemption. Mamet, who is radio gold, kept bragging about his mastery of the game. He spent so much time playing it that he even ignored his GF. He was a "bad cowboy". Then suddenly it stopped, when Howard questioned him about the game, Mamet said he had gotten killed - he did not explain how he got killed. Now the truth can be told, he got stabbed in the ass by a covert Pinkerton agent and bled out slung over a horse.

It looks interesting.

I’m a HUGE gamer. I actually spend more money on gaming some months than in this hobby. Both dishonoured 2 and RDD2 are good games. CS GO is a classic FPS still going sting in 2020and is my go to game. Battleroyale games are all the buzz now but I just can’t get into Fortnite. Apex is good though.

Farmville 2 on Facebook, World Golf Tour, Risk (on my phone). I upgraded my PC a few years ago and haven't been able to play Railroad Tycoon II or Warcraft since.

GTA & Thereabouts...
Played Elite Dangerous for a while, but haven't touched it in 1.5 years. Too much of a time commitment.

I re-downloaded Star Wars Battlefront 2 for the kids.
