Last Summer I had a bad week...Lost 4K on Jays, then chased 6K on philly who were big fav...so I was down 16K. Won a couple smaller ones and lost a few more....so was down 20K and made a big bet of 10K at -300 on Boston ... best pitcure, they were on a hot streak up to that week...I lost 4-3. So was down 58K that week....even though it was a large loss, I was up 22K from the prior weeks. This also was the last sports I ever made, so in mind mind it has saved me months or years of losing! lol

When betting on sports, shouldn't always bet on fav.

I have done a few at $5K, but the biggest was last years Super Bowl. I rode on New York Giants in the post season and doubled up with a $12K bet to win $10K (I bought a half point to push my line to NYG +3.5).

My normal bets are between $500 to $1000, and may increase depending on how hot some teams are or how big my bankroll has grown.
My local, wasn't to happy this with me in 2012 and last week. I bet a 2 team 7point teaser on Ravens +15.5 and SF +4 for $5K. I thought the bet was not looking good when ATL was up 17-0, but had hope as they suck and tend to give up points in the 2nd half.

Biggest lost: $4.5K
Biggest payday: $18.5K on a $100 8 team parlay in Vegas

Yeah that was a good mix of medium to long shots on NHL games 2 years ago. My other parlay wins didn't even come close to half that amount.

Cash poker games in Vegas is another story.

My biggest bet was just under 15K when I bet on Renato Sobral to beat Bobby Southworth. It ended in the first round due to a referee stoppage. I don't remember the exact odds, but I believe Southworth was around +375. Hardest part was getting that much money down on the fight; I had to use a bunch of different accounts online.

One of my most memorable wins was hitting a 12-team parlay I made when I was drunk one night. I won around 12K. I remember the first thing I did was take a screenshot to send to all my degenerate gambler friends. Also, I never made a parlay bet after that (didn't want to push my luck).

I hit the triactor on the Kentucky Derby yesterday 3k plus
Well done rags. I am a lifelong gambler, backgammon, poker and blackjack, with occasional boxing bets. But I have rarely ventured into the horses. It takes knowledge and insight into the sport that I do not possess.

A couple of years ago a client bet $50K on a basketball game with pinnacle sports while we were having dinner at Mortons. After dinner we went back to the Hazelton and watched the game in the screening room.

The maximum bet at pinnacle usually not up to $50K.
