SUVs are safer, spacious, sit more people, have more cargo space, 4x4 etc.
Cheers
Why do people want luxury crossover and suvs anyway? Get a nice sedan or better yet a wagon. Audi RS6 or Mercedes S63. More cargo space, handles way better, and much more useful back seat. I'll never understand the attraction to SUVs. To consumers anyway, the manufacturers love the profit margins.
The RS6 is oft cited as the answer to the Sport SUV question by many automotive journalists.

Land Rover’s Range Rover Velar SV Autobiography edition sits just a hair closer to to the SUV side of the wagon/SUV spectrum, similar performance, a not quite as fast/nimble but a bit more off road capabilities.

Can’t go wrong with Porsche Cayenne or Macan as well, just watch the options which drive the price up.

I've driven Jeep Grand Cherokees and don't like how they handle. They feel very heavy.
Ther ARE quite luxurious though
Well.......thats relative right.
Compared to a Subaru they are, but compared to a Cayenne or Maserati I dont think they are.

Another SUV you might like is the new Audi.
Seen a few of those around and I really like them.
Very, very sharp!!

F150.

I know it's not an SUV but it can do pretty much everything an SUV can do and haul a load of shit to the dump. Plus they are fucking great vehicles to drive. Save and except finding a place to park downtown. Liable to rip the roof right off it.

Regular maintenance visit is between $5,000-10,000 though at Lambo. You service anywhere else and car value drops.

Luxury cars depreciate to almost nothing after 5-6 years. Now I impress the guy inside the car not outside the car. Last year I bought a new Lexus. I advertised the three year old Lexus and stated low mileage, 4 winter tires and rims with two years Lexus warranty. I asked for full retail price and got it. Three people came to see it. The other two that did not buy called back later, but it was too late. There is big demand for pre-owned Lexus cars.

Urus’ are nice but for literally half the money, you could get an Audi RSQ8 (Urus, Cayenne, Q8 all based off the same platform and have a 4.0l tt V8). Of course the Urus’ styling is light years ahead of the Audi but it only has about 50 more hp.

Red House over yonder.
Buy a LEXUS late model low mileage certified used vehicle from a dealer. Some other chump paid the heavy depreciation. Just like a new car warranty. You set it and forget it. I do not have the time to become best friends with the dealer and the mechanics. Not as sexy as Mercedes and BMW but LEXUS quality is more durable. This is why MB and BMW depreciation is horrible. This is why LEXUS is willing to sell so many certified cars. LEXUS is not afraid to guaranty their own used cars.

Tesla Model X. The most fun you will ever have driving an SUV, and it feels like a fucking rocket when you put your foot down.
