Here's mine..

Irregardless...the word is REGARDLESS...the word irregardless does not exist..except to those that wish to butcher the language..

..and I see the women have mentioned the "C" word a couple of times as one that sets them off...I think it does for most women..the one for me is being called a c***sucker. I've only been called that to my face a couple of times...but it sent me totally physco..close as I've ever come to seriously hurting someone..amazing the power the spoken word has..if you have a word that just sets you off like that, it does give you an understanding, although a minor one, of the power of racial slurs...

I think a lot of you already know the word that ticks me off. It's actually not the word but the misuse of the word, "ignorant".

A close second is You's. WTF is that? There is no plural to You you fucking morons. :D

Hey Country girl! :D
“You can take a girl out of the country but you can’t take the country out of girl”

Reminds of the time, as a young sea cadet up in good old Northern Ontario my cousin and I were working a mall selling raffle tickets to raise money for our summer camp.

This one lady was filling out a ticket and says to me, “I live in the country, do you want my box number?” (She said it with just the right emphases’ on the bold words, it was too funny, you had to be there)

My cousin was just beside me could not help himself… he started laughing.

She must have been having a blonde country girl moment cause she looks at me and says, “Did I say something funny?”

I just looked at her with a straight as face as I could (I was almost about to lose it) and said “Oh no that’s Ok, just as long as we have your phone #”

Weeks later I found out she won one the prizes. An electric blanket. When I told that to my cousin, he laughed so hard he nearly fell out of his chair.

Annnywaaaayssss. <<<<<<< One of the words I hate. A 31y/o old, going on 12 LF of mine says this all the time when we are having a disagreement. Really pisses me off!

I can't say there are any words that get to me. I look at the people who soeak the words more then words themselves. Someone can call me the "C" world or the "B" word and depending the person, the tone of the statement, and the actual sentence the word is spoke in, I may take more offense to being called the bitch instead of the "C"

okay, I'll keep quiet. :p hehehehe

How about, "Honey I'm home" !!!!.

Really pisses me off when someone says something is or was, "So fun!!". God is that ever a mangling of english, right up there with "Light on fire", the phrase is "set fire to.."

wow, lots of English teachers here.

**** doesn't bother me, it's really only in north america that people have a "problem" with it.

Seems like manufactured anger to me...

One word I absolutely hate is "fiance"

Every time I hear a girl call her SO a "fiance" I cringe, and secretly laugh inside.
