What's a (TERB) "White Knight?"

Nailed it IMHO. In the strip clubs these white knights are often recognized and trained into becoming 'lap dogs' for some ruthless dancers. Offering car rides, money, doing chores , anything in the vain hope that when the 'bad' boyfriend goes, they will inherit the spoils.White knight or otherwise known as fat ugly bald dude that can't get laid with an inch of 50's in his hand....poor schlepps have been around since before joey buttmyfuoco and his little ho amy fisher.
Not anymore than a child afraid of the dark is a racist. People for generations have feared the night, dark caves, places that our perceptions are weak and the darkness can hide dangers and evil. Sometimes it is the objective reviewer, trying to post his honest experience who really doesn't have the time, sense, stomach or stamina for the brain bashing and mud slinging sure to ensue.Whatever the original etymology, it seems labels quickly get co-opted and conveniently slapped on someone whenever views or actions encroach on others comfort zones or just plain annoy them. Just as some speculate that some white knights have ulterior motive then perhaps it's fair game to suggest that chronic "labelers" do too. It's a magic spell that snares the target square in that old damned if you do, damned if you don't conundrum and frequently shuts up dissenting voice that really doesn't have the time, sense, stomach or stamina for the brain bashing and mud slinging sure to ensue.
This may be true to a certain degree, however there is also a large group of regular, fairly straight forward posters here who are able to see both sides of the bash/wk coin. At some point, it does become obvious who the wk are when no uncomplimentary word may be spoken about a lady without them coming to her immediate defence and then launching an offensive of their own. For the wk, his damsel can do no wrong, no matter the evidence otherwise.
Back pockets are bulging with them - tree hugger, chauvinist, loser, fem-naz, c*$t, racist, soccer mom, momma's boy, deadbeat dad, golddigger, slut, pervert, troll, ad nauseum - handy to toss at opportune time. Particularly handy to folks who are easily threatened or have much at stake in a polarized view, but in lazy or cynical moments they can be awfully tempting to reach for, just like junk food you always regret after the fact.
This is just my bias, but I feel they're frequently handy to those who intrinsically don't really give hoot or holler about the principle of a discourse, just have to win or appear to win. In such instances I don't find it so baffling that some find it impossible to believe that a WK is actually speaking on principle as opposed to a "point scoring" agenda. If you got no real principle at stake then maybe you assume no one else does either. And again, it's my bias, but I feel that these types (I won't label them, but I'm sure someone has/will) are probably more prevalent than WK's trying to score points.
Again, that statement does carry some weight, however you are also being unfair to the members who have seen a lady, posted an honest but less than stellar review of her, only to be assailed by her fan boy wk. There may also be others who have become so tired of pointing out the wks that they just don't bother anymore.
When a member does not post an honest review of an unsatisfactory encounter because he fears he will be pounced upon by her protectors, the rest of the board suffers because they are not warned about possible poor service.
I'm really glad I'm not the only one who has noticed this as well. Any forum is like this however. Men start to feel the need to always be the good guy, so WKs have lots to say about nothing. Others like to be Trolls and make people feel things for nothing better than the self satisfaction they made someone a little less happy with their nonsensical comments.But I'm wondering now whether TERB needs WKs. I hate WKs since they discourage newbies from posting reviews but it seems like there are individuals out there who have vendettas against certain SPs.
Girls DO read reviews!! Some even like to profess how much they've changed and made the attempt to make the service better when in reality the SP has only made themselves more known as a good girl who is trying to be the "top provider".
I'm not saying guys are always to blame, but it seems to be the one voice on this kind of review board that is heard over the rest. Unfortunately there is not going to be a whole lot of change on this front and this struggle is always going to occur no matter who or what changes.

I'm not a big fan of the White Knights and feel if I had to defend myself on a bad review then I'm more than capable to do so. I think where reviewers are concerned most reviews are fair and balanced but there are mean nasty a-holes out there and of course some who will complain no matter what so I could see why some WKs will run to an escort's defense. If you think about it, they have invested something with her and not just money. However, I've had the WKs run to try and protect me and while their efforts are appreciated, I had to remind them that I can handle myself.
Not every escort is going to please someone. I've had some bad appts where there was no chemistry or I wasn't their type and I could sense this but bad review or not, once I walk out the door I try to not let it affect me. Reviews included. This has been a hard lesson to learn but over time I have made it a rule to not let their opinions affect me.
To the escorts: If you want to be reputable and make this business lucrative for you, provide the service you're comfortable with and then weigh the feedback on yourself such as your looks or what you are doing during appts. If you're not happy with certain things about yourself or service, something can be done about it. Just make sure YOU are ready to do this. Not because someone expects you to be something you're not.
To the clients: Do your homework and read and read. You will have better odds of meeting the right girl for you. Don't let one bad experience deter you.
