First - Stampeders with opening act Flood (Greg Goddovitz front man, later to form Goddo)

Best - Rush at the London Gardens early 80's. No reserved seating (before the Cincinnati Who trampling incident). I was 15 feet from the stage. Best concert sound I've ever heard.

Worst - Rod Stewart 2 years ago (and I didn't even get laid after!)

i think that you and i have the only duplicate best concert...I managed to see most of the top soul artists in their prime....except Otis Redding...i had tickets to see him in Toronto....but his plane went down before he got here....sad

Best and Worst

Best was Rogers Waters Pros and Cons of Hitchhiking tour with Eric Clapton as lead guitarist (1984)

Worst, Neil Young 2x, each time hoping he would do his Rust Never sleeps and other hits, but he just did his crappy country and electro pop shows. (1983-85 ish)

OK I realize I'm setting the standard for being the oldest fucker on the board.

First - Elvis Presley at MLG 1st concert in Canada 1955, before the movies and all the other BS. My boss got floor seats and gave them to me.

Best - A tie: Ray Charles at Massey Hall 1959 on tour, backup acts included The Drifters, The Olympics, Ron Holden but Ray was on the top of his game.
Mavis Staples at the Toronto Jazz Festival summer 2007, she turned a grey haired Toronto audience into a rockin' southern baptist gospel congregation, hairs goin' up on the back of your neck, booty shakin', emotional performance.

Worst - Rolling Stones at the SkyDome early '90s, absolutely terrible. Nothing redeeming about it.

Was that their Steel Wheelchairs tour? I heard that the tour for Voodoo Lounge was good.

Saw them in 94 or 95 at CNE for Voodoo Lounge.

It was INCREDIBLE. Not quite U2 in 92, but close.
