Mine is green eyed red head.

I agree, red hair and green eyes look very striking together. It makes sense as they're complementary colours on the colour wheel: http://www.google.ca/imgres?imgurl=...mage_result&resnum=1&ct=image&ved=0CAYQ9QEwAA

Yellow and blue are also complementary which I think is partly why blonde hair and blue eyes look good together. This is probably also why blondes look good wearing blue and redheads look good wearing green.

I also think black hair paired with green or blue eyes looks good because of the contrast. Anytime you have a light/dark contrast in shades, whether it's hair & eyes, blonde hair & a tan, white teeth and a tan, alabaster skin and black hair, etc. it tends to make people look more striking/attractive.
