Who said that fat load of bollocks? I can't seem to find it anywhere.Only the truly strong can be gentle. The same thing from the weak is appeasement and trying to curry favour.

You are correct. Years ago I read a small book of his one liners and witty replies. It was very good. One of my favourites was his response to Lady Astor who, while attending a reception had grown quite irritated at the old curmudgeon. She said "Winston, if you were my husband I would poison your tea." Churchill's response was "Madam, if you were my wife I'd drink it."I may be drunk, Miss, but in the morning I will be sober and you will still be ugly.
Winston Churchill
he had so many great lines it is hard to pick just one

I read it in something, years ago. I thought it was the exact opposite of a fat load of bollocks (though I think that expression is original to you?)Who said that fat load of bollocks? I can't seem to find it anywhere.
No, sorry. It is the very embodiment of a fat load of bollocks. It sounds like it was written by someone who read but failed to understand Nietzsche, or who listened to just a little too much Rush a little too intently as a teen. Where did you read it, some Ayn Rand fanfic or somesuch?I read it in something, years ago. Easy, Mongo! I remember it as an observation of motivations for human behaviour, and a commentary on the human condition, and it struck me as apt.No, sorry.
