The Vesta Lunch is a small diner at Bathurst and Dupont, has been there since 1950 something, until recently it was owned by 2 older Greek guys. Lots old old greek guys sitting/working in there. They recently changed ownership and its alot better than it was, even the food is a little better now and I dont mind going in anymore. Although if you frequent late night activity youve problably stoped by in the past. There used to be an old perv working there that used to always try to touch the womans hands a face ect. When the new owners realized, he was canned immediatley , the old owners felt some kind of moral obligation to keep him and always blew his actions off. They must have lost so much business because of him. I myself would walk all the way down to "Mels diner" on bloor (also open 24/7) just to avoid him.

i was so shocked at his friendly demeanor and welcoming attitude that I tipped him 10 bucks on a 8 dollar meal. LOL He's a really cool guy. He should watch his horse betting.

Ive never ran into any chaaracters at Mels, although Im sure I would eventually. Stopped going there when I recieved dirt in my salad for the second time. I think George deserves a good tip from everybody he serves, he's one of a kind.
