Which service to go with?

I have been living only full time in Canada for about a year now so I'm out of the loop, I'm asking which cable service is best to go with? All I care about is live sports (soccer, F1, basketball, baseball, football, hockey) I have been going with one of the dodgy Android streaming services but now the guy that sold it to me says he can't fix what's wrong with it, so I decided to go legit and asking for help here, in the Kitchener/Waterloo area.

Skip cable, buy streaming services from sports channels like SoortsNet and save yourself some cash.

You can use a fire stick or equivalent to stream.

I use to do free streaming’s through services or Kodi but it has just become easier to pay for what I want without issues like what you had.

At a SP near me
There are many other iptv services that are very stable and will have more sports than you will ever need. Just need to try a few out.

Digital Antenna is all your need. No payment. Maybe a occasional free month of Amazon, Netflix, hula etc etc. There so many free trials it would take you years to go threw them all. But I prefer the video store or at least did now with Covid it probably will give up the ghost. Apparently even Blockbuster is in trouble these days.

And while Bell and Rogers screw there customers over, the intnernet services themselves are parasites that can only exist as long as Bell and Rogers exist. When Bell and Rogers die, the net work is no longer maintained and the internet ends. So screw them lets kill the internet together!

I see that TSN offers a streaming service along with Sports Net, why the dislike of Bell TV?
Because they are a rip off service that's why. I cancelled my cell service in Oct 2019 and they still tried to rip me off as late as this summer. Their technical support line is in Kolkata it's atrocious, a continuous song and dance routine.

At this point it doesn't make sense to go with cable, I'm going to start streaming HBO Max on line. I already have Amazon Prime and reconsidering signing back on to DAZN. The other options for the Champions League are substandard.

Still haven't gotten your pov on the van Dijk tackle. In Serie A, that's an automatic red card and three game suspension.

That's exactly my point of view on the tackle, those are potentially career ending and it deserves as you said red card and suspension.

Some are missing my point here, I don't care for movies or shows, the majority of my entertainment is sports hence the ability to get cable, so I come home, switch on my 60 inch 4k and watch a game, no reddit links please either.

I have just seen them rip off to many people. Mainly seniors. Taking advantage of their lack of knowledge.

They outsource their phone lines and workers so they don’t give back to Canada and while I have no period, I believe that the scammers from places like India get a lot of their phone records from the hired Bell employees. Who then again target seniors with CRA scams and the like.

Rogers is a bit of a rip off too but not like Bell. They have Canadian only phone and support staff.

My dad tried for years to get a cheaper phone line for his house. Just a home phone line, no VM, no call display, nothing. They were charging him $50 plus long distance.

I finally convinced him to go to Rogers, he pays $15, and free Canada wise calling. This is just one example.

I have Rogers Ignite internet and it is faster then fuck. Speed is not longer and internet issue. Bell and Rogers both have super fast internet. It is a matter of the company practices over their service.

Also for the price of cable, you can pay for multiple streaming services and still be paying less.

I have:

Crave
Amazon Prime
Netflix
Disney
CBS all access
Apple TV
Stack TV

Monthly is it less then a package with movie channels.
PS - I forgot the DAZN. That would be a good one

For sports alone I use sportspass.io The picture quality is excellent and fairly reliable. All the major sports leagues plus a huge list of sports tv .

I don't understand what your menstrual cycle has to do with this discussion. Does it affect your reception? ;)

I am not interested in any of the internet streaming services, they are not reliable. I have looked at DAZN and it seems like a good deal.

From your name I would guess that you want to watch either Liverpool or Everton. If so, DAZN will give you all EPL and CL games. If you choose DAZN then get a monthly subscription and suspend it when the season is over.

I have a similar preference for live sports, mostly hockey, basketball and baseball. DAZN does not offer streaming for my preferences. If you’re like me, and want to watch leafs, raps and jays, an antenna won’t work either, Rogers blacks out all games except Hockey night in Canada. I tried TSN streaming and it sucks. I’ve tried 2 IPTV providers. One was awful: server crashed, crappy stream, legal issues forced its closure. The one I’m using now is pretty good Really good reliable stream, great customer service. Monthly billing is good too, I can take a break if there’s nothing to watch (like now).

I’m not so much obsessed with the cost of cable, or fibre from the bigs, I just despise their business model, their shit customer service, and poor overall value for what I’m paying.

Does anyone watch CTV News, TSN (live sporting events) and BNN without cable?
