You may have got a point there.
Whenever you see a Honda with a ridiculously large wing on the back, megaphone exhaust, and the driver reclined so far he can barely see out, it is nearly always an Asian driving and he is nearly always is in your way.
You are being stereotype. My roommate is Asian. He has been driving for over than 10 years here in Toronto, Georgia, and South Carolina. He has NEVER EVER got involved in an accident. He has not received a single ticket.
My friend who is Asian. He has been driving for over than 9 yrs here in Toronto. Never got involved in an accident.
Me, white. I got 1 ticket already. But I have never involved in an accident.
A friend of mine, black. He got 2 tickets and involved in an accident.
And the funny thing is, that show "Canada's Worst Driver" on discovery channel, I have never ever seen an Asian.
I drive to downtown everyday to work. People who pissed me off because they can't drive and shouldn't drive, most of them are non-Asian(the one with slanted eyes).
I have never cared before, but this particular post by Adrenalin gives me an itch. I gotta scratch LOL.
"Asian people can't drive?" This is a myth that people created based on Asian physical features, in this case, their eyes. It's like, oh he or she can't drive because they have slanted eyes. The people who created this myth, I think they are jealous of how smart and succesful most Asian people are. They are looking for an easy answer or way out to make themselves feel better.
I watch the new Survivor series. It is amazing how good Asian tribe is on that show. They beat Black tribe who poeple know that black people more athletic, stronger, etc. Most of the time, the Black tribe always come up as the last group. Most of the games, the Asian tribe, yes with slanted eyes, has won it. The games involve physical, mental, and IQ challenge.
I apologize if I have offended some people, but this is what I experienced.
I think "Asian people can't drive" is a myth created by jealous people.
And for Babymilo, I think you need to value yourself more and find something inside you that valuable to you and others. What you are doing is not coming up strong(for you as an asian person), but showing how desperate for attentions you are and not valuable thoughts you have.
Peace.
