On the debate.

I was really impressed by Yves-Francois Blanchet tonight. He hit Mr. Carney with some good shots. Also consider that English is not his first language.

Singh kept interrupting Pierre at every turn and was attacking all over the place.

Pierre Poilievre was the guy that Conservatives wanted to see this evening. Composed and direct. Didn't until the end talk over anyone. Didn't appear angry or obstinate. Where has this version of him been?

Prime Minister Carney looks and sounds the part...His content is flawed though. I'm not sure the fence sitters will see that though. He's good at changing direction when he gets cornered. He's a much better politician than we gave him credit for.

I think the Bloc picks up some votes in Quebec here. NDP is going to get run over in this election. Probably down to slightly above single digits.

Liked the friendly interaction between Poilievre and Carney at the end...Their advisors no doubt told them that even after the debate is over the cameras are still rolling.Optics were great. It's a good image for Canada.

Well run show.

Singh and Blanchet did great last night. Their counters were clear, direct and sharp.

Singh is fighting for his political life. He made sure he was heard this debate.

Mark Carney's style of debating is take the question, reposition it, then answer it to the list of talking points prepared. He sounds like a salesman trying to lock you into a shady deal.

Poilievre strategy I will admit is still too fundamentally rooted against Trudeau Liberals. I wish he was more like Blanchet and directly attacked Carney. You saw Singh and Blanchet directly attacked Carney without having to tie past Liberals actions into it.

Blanchet seems to be a good guy for Quebec. Not much I have to say about him.

Honestly, it's pick your poison at this point. Mine will be Poilievre because in the end I don't want Canada to be broke. :ROFLMAO:

Happy Easter.🐰

I keep hearing people deride the debates as being "boring".

That's a good sign. Politics SHOULD be boring.

Boring equates to functional in politics.

I would say the TERB poll so far is very close to this one by Mainstreet Research. It has the CPC with the popular vote by 2 percentage points, but the Liberals just winning a slight majority.

CBC says otherwise, you need to check more than one poll.
