Out of position? Where was he - up in the 300's? Or maybe he stepped out for a quick pint?

But I disgress . . . . the ref was 20 ft behind the play (instead of in front of the play) and couldn't see the fact that the defenceman didn't touch the puck he just tripped Spezza from behind after he was in the clear. Textbook definition of what a penalty shot is.

It's hard to believe; but, even if the talented scenicdrive and spankingman themselves were out there refereeing the games personally, people would still make comments on sports sites and radio call in shows about how stupid and incompetent they are due to all the blown or non calls made.
Being in that hot seat is not an easy job.

Talented??? LMAO!!! Thanks for your compliment. If the money is right, it may not be hard to believe Dr. Scenicdrive will put on a pair of skates and be a referee. They better be paying a lot of money to the referee doc to take the heat. LOL.
