Why do ads say no black gents?

I see this in many ads and it hasn’t made much sense to me.
Is it overt racism?
Or is it some sort of code that I’m not understanding.

There have been other discussions on this. Basically, there seems to be many reasons.

Personal preference (is that racism?)
Pimp in the background (assuming black, so that is likely racist)
Avoid being harassed by pimps and thugs (some ads do say no pimps or thugs, but some fake ads say 1000% real pics, so who knows)
My favourite thought, which has never come up, is that to a scammer/faker, likely seems far too risky to rip off/piss off a young black dude who doesn't put up with that kind of shit (is that racism or reality? lol)

I've actually asked a couple of girls I met with this question, since it seemed very strange to me to limit your customer base so significantly, and I got very different responses.

One told me that she'd been robbed by a black guy before, and didn't trust them - they're all thugs, etc. Seemed pretty racist.

Another told me that in her experience black guys tended to fuck a lot rougher than white guys, and in her line of work she didn't want to be getting too sore down there. She'd still see black guys if she knew them or they came recommended, but she put the "no black guys" tag on her ads to keep people she didn't trust away.
