Just wondering...Why do SP's lie and say its not about the money? We all know what the truth is, so why try to decieve yourself or anyone else?

It's not sexy to say it's a business.

What's wrong with having them build a small fantasy? I'm sure most enjoy some aspects of the session, so it isn't a total lie.

They enjoy the part where the fat ugly hairy stinky guy hands over the money.

Oh, and the part where the fat ulgy hairy stinky guy is leaving.

Of course the money is a motivating factor.
However , for me it was more about the freedom to make my own schedules and live my life as i wanted/needed to.

I am not speaking for other women on this board because they will continue to deceive you and themselves, but I will speak for myself.

Of course it is 100% about the money-- for me anyways. However, unlike other people, I do like the 9-5, and if I was out of school I would have rather done that instead of being an escort. I do however enjoy being an escort far more than working retail. You deal with the same clients-- some arrogant assholes, some not, and you get paid more.

Let's just say that it is 90% about the money. There is a lifestyle attached to it as well by associating yourself with people that have the means to spend time with you on the clock. With very few men, there is the feeling of being special. There has also been ONE client that I would have spent time with for nothing. That was because I enjoyed conversations with him so much and he understood me that I formed a genuine connection. That said, note the emphasis on one versus many.

When it comes down to it, it is for money. I would not be doing this for $10.00 an hour, or even $50.00.

It is a fantasy that we put into your heads, and talking about the financial aspect in relation to ourselves isn't all that sexy.

I don't lie to myself about this, and I do not need to lie to you all about it. I don't need to make any of you believe that I do this for any reason other than the money. That said, I have had some very engaging conversation with some people during my time as an escort. I have also come across people that could have helped me immensly in my career, but I can't utilize those connections because this world and my real life don't mix.

Anyways, there is my rant/opinion that went away from the original question.

It's our profession and obviously the money is good ~ there's no reason to lie about that.

Initially, we are all lured into the industry by the money but eventually, I think a lot of us grow to like other aspects of the "job".

I have gained a lot more than just money through my interactions with clients over the years. One day, when I retire, I will miss a lot of the people who see me. I will miss the flexibility, the chance to be a lil scandalous... :p, and ya - I'll miss the income.

This is true for working in any job that deals with the public. You meet the entire spectrum of humanity. From a-holes to classy gentlemen like myself.

I thought that premium pricing would tend to weed out the a-holes, but I guess the entire spectrum of humantity transcends the entire spectrum of pricing. A quick over-the-phone screening process can often help.

but why does it really matter what the girl in question says to you .. you are paying her for a service and if she is providing you that service and you are enjoying yourself should that not be the most important thing?

If a lot of SPs have told you this, they must have you pegged for a sucker or something. Hardly any of them tell me this.

Some of the biggest a-holes are monied people. Many of the most decent people are non-monied people (read financially challenged).

The pros here: all about the money & anything else said is to b.s. you more if they just see you as a chump. NOW you want a little freak who is looking to fulfill a fantasy by getting a few bucks & hooking up with a stranger, then find yourself a REAL non-pro GEM.
