I think its amazing feat for Ovechkin and I will be happy for him when he breaks the record. He's worked hard, he's passionate, he's never acted like a spoiled rich athlete, he's a good ambassador for the game. How do you guys feel about Oveshkin now saying he doesn't do politics but having befriend Putin for so many years? Personally i would have suggested him to take a few game off. For chris sake his social account pics were often displaying him and fucking Putin.

I'm sure that he didn't speak out against it.
