Holy cow. I just installed my new 22" widescreen monitor and the difference is unbelievable!!!

So much room for icons on my desktop and tabs in Firefox! Luvin' it!!

Why the desktop icons?
They just use/waste PC system resources.
Just put the needed one on the bottom leftside quick launch tray.

On Windows my only icon is recycle bin, on linux there's no desktop icons at all...

What resolution do you have the screen set to now. Is it 2500x1200 or something like that? Are you using DVI->HDMI? Just wondered..

It's at 1680x1050.

The monitor is Digital compatible and so is my video card but when I tried to plug them together the monitor gave me a message saying it couldn't find the analog signal. I'm not sure if there's a setting I need to adjust to go digital or what...
