What do you think of Annika playing with the men? On an invitation, no less. At least that little 13 year old kid qualified. I'm torn on whether this is the direction of ladies golf. Convince me one way or another.
I'd like to think Annika could make the cut, but rumour has she played with a couple of PGA players and a baseball pitcher and finished fourth. Could be an urban legend?
I've never heard of that one, but who knows? If she made it fair and square, I wouldn't have much of a problem with it, but I understand it's her first tourney. Let her try and qualify for the next one and we'll see. Afterall, lot's of guys make it on sponsor's exemptions. But I don't think she'll be able to keep up with the guys, even at the shorter Colonial.
the thing about losing to the baseball pitcher is true, I forget his name though and all the pros said he was a hell of a golfer.
I give her 40% chance of making the cut. it's one of the shortest courses on the tour and she's a good putter, that could get her over the hump but the odds are still against her.
