Many of your comrades here said that they should replace Biden with Newsom.
When I asked why not Kamala, the answers were mostly because they thought she couldn't beat Trump.
When I asked why do they think she couldn't beat Trump, they said that she's not qualified and not the "best" candidate.
When I asked why they think she's not qualified or the best candidate considering she's the US VP and was elected for that role, you stepped in and immediately suggested my questions were racist in nature.
Aside from living up to the leftist trait of calling people racists when they dare ask a question that makes them uncomfortable for some reason, you and the others still can't answer the simple question.
So unless you and your comrades can actually provide a sensible answer I'll provide one:

Given Biden's limited dynamism on the campaign trail, the Democrats should be concerned that Biden has hit a ceiling.
I wouldn't rule out that Newsom and perhaps other Dems could improve their numbers. They would improve on their name recognition, demonstrate vigor and have a chance to articulate their vision. They would also have a ton of money to run ads shaping their candidacy. As importantly, Liberal media will give them and their surrogates massive amounts of coverage as they should.
You're certainly entitled to your opinion of Trump and where to place your trust. However, I think you are deliberately dismissing the jeopardy and antidemocratic nature of the situation. Biden's cabal (as you call it) was trying to hold on to power by propping up a less than capable President by concealing his ageing. Who knows how long this has been going on? This didn't just hit Biden in June 2024.
Getting back to Trump, what you see is what you get. There's no smoke and mirrors. Does he want to be an autocratic President? Maybe. I'm not too concerned. Republican legislators never gave him everything that he wanted. Trump can't even ensure his handpicked candidates win Republican primaries let alone general elections. Several times I called out members who from one post to the next said Trump didn't get much done and yet they said he was an autocrat.
The mask of the cabal was taken off at the debate. If Biden runs and wins, at least the voters made the choice. I just don't know how the "cabal" hides President Biden from here on out.

I also heard that because Kamala and Newsom are both from California they can't run on the same ticket. So if Newsom comes in then Kamala is out. Which I think is good but that can't sit well with her. She did aspire for the presidency at one time...They have some difficult decisions to make.
