I was listening to AM radio a while back and they mentioned a survey that said 70% of Canadians will get vaccinated right away.
Another 20% surveyed would rather wait a year or so (thats including me).
You then add 5% to 10% of people who have natural antibodies from being infected, and you're close to 95-100%.
Thats more than enough to reach herd immunity.
So the few people who rather not get vaccinated will have almost no impact on life going back to normal.

Having said that, the more people that get vaccinated the better. Herd immunity is fine. Eradication is better. Because of anti-vaxxers, measles (as one example) is making a comeback and I suspect that they comprise less than 10%.

From what I've read Covid will most likely never be completely eradicated. Just like the flu never will be.
We will always have to take booster vaccines, and we will always have new Covid infections regardless.
