Yes, did it around 6 months ago. Was hesitant but it went ok. No problems. I think it's faster. A few minor differences that I can't remember now as it's been 6 months and I'm getting old. Lol

How about the ads, has MS gone overboard? I've read that quite a few people went to Linux instead of the bullshit telemetry with Win11.
I'm torn, wanted first hand accounts, I'll figure it out eventually.

I've had no negative issues. Overall it's faster so I like it.

I did upgrade my Windows 10 to Windows 11 even though it was not supposed to be compatible. Used an App called "Rufus" to do it.

But whatever you do to upgrade to Windows 11, just make sure it is the 23H2 one as there are glitches with the latest 24H2 version.

Has anyone used Rufus or other TPM bypass options with Bitlocker, which is required in my business (securities).

I have a custom-built, fairly high-end PC with Win 10 Pro and Bitlocker on a USB. Initially built in 2018, I updated most components, and I don't want to upgrade to Win 11 until I have to. Upgraded to higher-end newer Intel chip, 64 GB memory fast M.2 SSD boards etc. It does not have TPM, just Bitlocker, that I am required to have.

I understand Bitlocker is more secure than just TPM (have to also have the USB drive). I understand Bitlocker can be used with TPM, but I don't have TPM.

I assume we can not avoid the Win11 TPM requirement by having the current Bitlocker? So I will have to end up with both or the bypass way when I HAVE to go to Win11.

Other info not related to the question:
On Asus's laptop, the motherboard went bad, so I got a newer Lap with Win 11. I do not see any advantages and some settings are more challenging to get to (a minor example is way to change audio outputs (I have 3 for different purposes)

I have never used the Win desktop using Starbucks Start software (now Start 11, which works on 10) and their Fences. So have a nice, organized custom desktop on the PC arranged on six 27" monitors (I look like mission control with some Horz and vert and stacked). On laptop have external 34" curved monitor. I have never played a game, but it is used extensively in business and essential things like terb and merb :) I also transmit/operate remote radio stations with big beams all over the US, Haiti, Puerto Rico and Croatia as an amateur radio operator (WØJKT). I am often doing different things at once on various monitors.
