I had a hard time upgrading a secondary machine running Windows 7. First had to set my language settings to English (US) (from English (Canada)) to get past the "Something happened" error message.
Then had to disable all my non-boot harddrives and card readers and disconnect any external peripherals to get the install to complete. Apparently this is a known issue.
But now that it's up and running, it's pretty good I guess. I don't notice much difference from Windows 7. Some things in the UI are laid out to be more easily accessible. I think the virtual desktops feature is the one I'll use the most.
Not going to upgrade my primary computer or work laptop until I've had a longer time to play with it on this test machine.
