Do computer stores sell copies of Windows XP for like 20 bucks lol

I got a good working copy of windows 95 at the moment.

all my windows XP copies are scratched

XP is still available in most computer stores ,around $90 for OEM .
OEM is fine,you just have to start from scratch as OEM cant do an upgrade, you have to use a clean hard drive so if there's files you need to keep, either back them up, copy them over once the new OS is installed.

OEM is meant for new machines, (original equipment manufacture)its a full operational system with all drivers etc,, but you have to start with a clean harddrive,so no upgrading an older OS.Theres also something ( I think) about if there's too many changes within the computer (I assume MB, chip etc) you'll ahve to get another OS as once its loaded for the particular computer, thats it.not many hardware changes are permitted.
