WinZip?

I had a trial version of winzip for ages, always worked, now when I try to open it I get "Your 45 day trial period ahs ended" I've tried to download it again, no luck.
Looking for options... I don't use it all that aften, so I don't want to purchase.

I use 7-Zip - free and it handles the common compression formats.
Packing / unpacking: 7z, ZIP, GZIP, BZIP2 and TAR
Unpacking only: ARJ, CAB, CHM, CPIO, DEB, DMG, HFS, ISO, LZH, LZMA, MSI, NSIS, RAR, RPM, UDF, WIM, XAR and Z.

7-zip is what I use instead of WinZip...it works!

If your using Xp it comes with it...just right click on the item you want to archive

Yes....but,

XP and Vista will handle a .zip file/folder, but not many of the other compression formats like gzip.
