Wireless N Routers?

I currently have a D-Link wireless G (54Mbps) router (model # WRT54GL) and am looking to upgrade to a wireless N router. My reasons are 1) for my Xbox 360 (which downloads updates pretty slow) and 2) because I'm going to get an iPad 2 sometime this year and I want better data transfers from my network. The distances to the router will be pretty small, under 50 feet I'd say although there will be a wall or two in the line of fire.

Best Buy has N routers on sale right now but there's so many it's hard to compare let alone decide which one to buy.

Any advice out there as to what I should be looking for?

I can't imagine that the wireless link is the bottleneck for your downloads, using wireless "G". That is, I would doubt that "N" will show an appreciable difference for you. But if it works for you, good on you!

Agree with Anynym.

I'm still using a 'G' router with no problems whatsoever.
