Look at the small print. 340-500g. Unless each donut weighs 340-500g, I'm guessing you get multiple donuts for $4.99.

Doughnuts are $4.99 tax in each at Suzie Q in Ottawa and they expect a tip. Crazy prices. They taste good but not that good.

Many people are willing to pay extra to shop at grocery stores like Metro, Loblaw's, Sobey's and Farm Boy so they don't have to share aisles with the low income people, who go to No Frills, Freshco or ValuMart.

Knobb Hill Farms was the worst. I used to live near the big store that was close to the corner of Landsdowne and College. I saw people opening peanut butter jars and taking some with their finger. One time there was a huge table stacked with rotting tomatoes; fruit flies circulating all about. A truck arrived with fresh tomatoes, and the produce manager directed the palettes to the stock room, so that customers' only option was the buy the rotting ones.

Yes its likely a package of 4. I've never seen single donuts sold at Metro.

Perfect breakfast for the heavy weights. Low carb sugar free donut for $4.99. What a deal.

I like Metro when they have Prime Rib or striploin on sale. The prices are really good and the quality is also good. And with numerous Metro locations in areas I frequent often, stopping there to buy things much cheaper elsewhere is worth it.
