WTF! Question about Mantracker

So the prey on Mantracker are filmed throughout the contest. Wouldn't the cameraman be a disadvantage to the prey? A third body and 3rd set of tracks to be found by him?

I'm pretty sure the show is a re-enactment of what happened, and not actually filmed as it happens.

Friends were on Mantracker. Confidentiality agreement bans them from talking too fine detail, but she posed this question- how is it that the cameras are always ahead of the prey to catch all of the exciting shots? Pretty much suggests that it is all staged.

Pretty much suggests that it is all staged.

Just about all reality shows are, some are just better than others at hiding it. Or some care more to hide it than others. I had to give up watching Gene Simmonds show as it got insulting.
