Anyone know how a safe virus free way to take audio from a youtube clip and convert it to an mp3 to save to your computer?

There is a thread on how to do that somewhere here in this Tech forum.
Did it a few times and it works well. Unfortunately the really good sound quality clips seem to getting pulled off You-tube leaving many poorer quality clips not worth saving.

Posts 8 & 9 show how I did it.
Using linux it`s very easy to do.
With Windows XP, is only a little harder.

I found a couple ways to do it. It works and as long as you pick a good quality Youtube video file to rip audio from it sounds great.
