Query: Has Rob Ford ever been caught with his hand on the public teat?
Only his own. At 260lbs (according to the arrest sheet), Tommy Boy has to be packing DDs.

He denied a marijuana charge. Then said he forgot about the marijuana charge because all he remembered was the DUI matter on the same night. He denied the drunken ACC incident and then admitted it after he got called on it. Dismissed as a football coach because Big Robbie couldn't play well with kids. And you want his guy for Mayor? How will you know when he's not lying to you? Only when his pupils aren't dialated or bloodshot? Shit, I should just keep quiet. He's probably on this board given that his marriage may not be the best after that unproven & alleged wife-beating charge. Hell, he may just beat me up, then deny it when the coppers show up.

The only thing that Rob Ford is capable of leading is the buffet line at the Rexdale Mandarin.

My God, this is Canada's largest city and these clowns are all that we have to choose from for mayor? Seriously, they have to pay more for the mayor position or do something to attract quality talent to the position.
Very true. City council is running (..into the ground lol) a 9 billion dollar corporation. Why can't we pay those clowns some decent coin. Councillors: 150 K, the mayor: 250 K. People don't seem to realize how many people leave toronto every year, for want of decent paying jobs to pay for the expensive cost of living in this city. We need some guys with their heads screwed right to get some industry in this place. That'd be my no. 1 priority..jobs.

I would be ok with salary increases if they also reduced the number of these clowns. Most of them can not think for themselves anyway and just vote to please the big dog.
Same goes for all levels of gov't.

you could of substituted Mel Lastman for Rob ford in your rant..and been spot on

regards ..we are getting another idiot for mayor..
Lastman was not an idiot. Was a mayor for 25 years?
In his last years he had some serious health issues.
Before that he was a businessman who got a lot of deals done and knew how to negotiate, without giving away the store.

How anyone can take Rob Ford seriously is beyond me. He is nothing but a attention seeking blow hard with a shtick. His shtick is "fiscal responsibility". The reality is that the moron has no concept of what that means. He has never managed a real business or project. He seems to have no concept of the complexity of running a city. Its not like looking at spreadsheets at his dads decal business. Can you imagine this clown representing Toronto at an international summit of any kind? He was manipulated and trapped by the idiot with the oxy phone call, can you imagine him negotiating with international political power players? I cant. He would be crushed chewed up and spit out. Can you imagine him holding his own in union negotiations? He would be pulverized into a puddle of mush. He's in way over his head. Thats why he's dangerous. He should go back to selling pot and drawing cheques from his dads company. This little clown has no business representing millions of people.
I'll say it again... What we need is someone who's Harvard educated to run this city, not an idiot like Rob Ford who wants to stop wasting tax payers money. Yeah, they should have all the smarts to make the right decisions. Oh, wait a second...

Rob Ford doesn't run the business. His father does. His position is simply a pay cheque. Ive known the family since the late 70s. This is how i know that he's a clown.

Going to Harvard doesn't mean you're the sharpest knife in the drawer. In just means you were born into a family with money.

yup... Harvard is a good choice of education for a mayor... for NYC, Buffalo, Springfield or Chicago.

Give me a hard working Ryerson or York U grad anyday.

Plus, I think that this city needs someone to stick their foot in their mouth and tell it like it is. Ford ain't pretty, but he makes some points..

and for the record.. I used to race bicycles so I'm about as pro-biker as anyone.. but you can't realistically keep them out for more then half the year. Open up spring-fall bike lanes when the congestion kicks in.. trun it into bus routes in the winter.

long live Archie Bunker for mayor.

Not necessarily true in many cases. Over half the students at Harvard have some form of scholarship to pay their way through. Having high grades and a great GMAT score is a prerequisite but also demonstrating leadership qualities and volunteer work are key. I digress though, back to the regularly scheduled program.

His father started the business and grew it, the kids are now reaping the benefits, although kudos to Doug Jr, he has been the key driver after the father passed away.

I forgot that Papa Ford had died. Doug runs the business now with a controller. My mistake. That doesn't change the fact that Rob Ford is a clown.

Yup. Pretty much says it all.

It'll be like a never-ending rerun of "Tommy Boy" without the funny bits and the happy ending.

Honestly I think the best solution to the people who love biking beside automobiles is to move to holland and you can bike all you want there... You don't even need to lock your bike because no one takes them. Please just move to holland.
