Why do people still go to strip clubs?

I used to frequent them a lot, back in the day, and recently I went and did a tour around a couple that I used to frequent.. just for old time's sake.

Now, sure it's nice to sit and have a few drinks and watch the stage show, so that's not my criticism here, when I ask why people still go.

What I find ponderous is that I also bought a few dances, and it didn't take very many of them to add up to much more money than I would have spent on a much longer incall, or even outcall. I am sure pretty much any SP would be happy to perform a lap dance for me if I asked.

Why do people still pay these rates, when you can get so much more for so much less?

Certainly it was fun for nostalgia reasons for me last week.. but I'm not doing it again any time soon. My dollar simply goes much further if I explore other options--and I can even hang out in a strip club before/after my session if that's what I want.

Just curious. I do see guys still in these places, and buying dances, but this business must be *dying* these days, given what's on offer elsewhere.

I think it's more about getting out with your buddies, drinking, socializing with the girls, and having multiple girls. It's that experience that you're paying for, not the girl herself.

Some people go out of habit, hard to change their ways. At least that is why I go, but I lay off the dances, unless something great happens to come by(maybe once a month), then I get a couple of dances and head out looking for a massage.

If I want a night out, variety, and fantasy, I'd choose a SC.

I love strip clubs still. I almost never get dances though. I'll go there for a couple hours, have a drink or two, and make an appointment at an SP or MP and go there directly after. I find this the best, you get worked up at the SC for little to nothing, and then get taken care of completely for a reasonable rate.

in the case of strip club you choose the girl in the realtime environment whereas in sp you know beforehand what/who you are getting ( if you into computers you will know the importance of realtime)
