I agree that trolling strip clubs with the major purpose of scoring 'extras' from strippers is monumentally inefficient and expensive compared to similar services one might get from MPs and SPs. I don't get the appeal of shelling out 300 dollars for a blowjob that lasts the length of the latest Britney Spears song in a VIP room that would shine like the lights of Vegas if someone shone a blacklight into it, but hey, to each their own
Some guys have lines that though don't make much sense rationally, make sense to them. For example if a 'handshake' should happen to occur at a SC while in the process of let's say a ten-dance set, they don't regard it as 'paying for sex'. There's also guys who don't consider lapdances 'cheating'. Every one has their individual comfort level, and for some SPs/MPs cross over. Also there is the possibility for a release without fluid exchange
The one advantage of SCs is the social nature. You can go with buddies, have some laughs, and even if you go solo, you can sit back with a drink, and appreciate the women. For all the complaints about high drink prices, pushy strippers and non-existent stage shows, there definitely is something to be said for all that naked flesh. SPs on the other hand, at least until you write a review, is a 1on1 experience that most people can't share with anyone else. SCs are still a bit taboo, and obviously it depends on your age and social situation (i.e married guys can't broadcast their SC adventures as easily as single guys), but in general its a little more socially acceptable. There's also a bit of the value of 'sunk cost'. It seems to be common for guys who frequent SCs, when they see a girl that they want to take to the VIP, they usually do a test run of 2-3 songs before they decide for sure that they want to drop some real guap. Worst case situation, you've dropped 60, 80, whereas a first-time encounter with a SP, you're already out 250-260 just by walking in the door (assuming you go with a reputable agency and you book a hour) Again, hidden costs, drinks, cover, you usually end up 80-100 in the hole, with any dancer you take for a 'test drive' but its a little more justifiable, than realizing you've blown 250 on a SP that you don't click with at all.
And I guess the other thing, is that guys can trick themselves into thinking it's a bit closer to a real-life experience, where if you get 'lucky' it's more spontaneous than a SP. You walk in the door seeing a SP, and unless you have terrible hygiene, are a complete creep/asshole, or you see a bad SP, you're pretty much guaranteed a release in one form or another. With a stripper, though you may look for it, and may tip the scales by dropping large quantities of money, or by specifically choosing a dancer whose known to do 'extras' , it's not explicit. You can more easily trick yourself into thinking the dancer is only doing for you
