We bombed ten or 12 targets- I don't our bombing stopped their advance and I am not sure how much I believe the effectiveness of the bombing by our allies. I think the kurds have done the heavy lifting as well as assad (yes a bastard though he has kept isis from overirunning syria)
So Mulcair wants to end our involvement against ISIS. Unfortunately he just doesn't get it, Mulcair thinks if we walk away from it that Islamic terrorists won't come to Canada and harm us. It's that kind of thinking and his open door immigration policies that will make us an easier target. And make no mistake they are going to be coming for us and a NDP or Liberal government will make their infiltration a lot easier.
The only reason that Islamic terrorists would want to come to Canada is because we are bombing them.

Laugh all you want but when ISIS and Al Quida make public statements to the effect we are going to be targeted I tend to be on the side of caution.
I guess you fail to remember Canada's roles in WW1 and WW2. I'd rather take a stand for what's right than be on the sidelines hoping that other "bigger" countries do the heavy lifting.
They both tended to make statements about American interventionism, failure to find peace in Israel/Palestine and generally about others bombing their lands.
