Phase Five: From near-completion to hand-over
At this point, your builder and crew are busy completing the final touches and cleaning up. You will be asked to do a walk-through of your home with the builder. Any last-minute touch-ups will be done.
On the date of possession, you will be handed the keys–the home is now yours!"
I dont see anywhere it being YOUR home anytime before.
Can you imagine the lawsuits the builder would have to face if people got hurt walking through a home being built unsupervised?
Just the risk of people damaging homes before completion alone is enough to for builders to keep you off the premises.
Maybe you can start a home building business and invite people to walk through all they want when you arent there? Have you ever walked through a home being built that isnt yours? Would you be happy watching people walk out of the home you're building without your consent? Would you be ok with damages done to a home by people when you or your crew arent there?
