Last spring the endocrinologist updated my insulin supply to Basaglar KwikPens. My prescription was updated to buy them per 100 units or a six pack. The cost of a six pack in Toronto is $92.00, the cost in the USA is $430.00.

In 2004, the origin of the worst pandemic in modern times was finally discovered, America was to blame. The virus sprang from the feedlots in Kansas, at the time America had just entered WWI. That's what the soldiers in the trenches, who initially caught the virus looked like.
Currently the USA has 59,000 deaths from the coronavirus and rising. It need not have gone that high if the USA had a coordinated system of testing under Medicare for ALL.

If the USA is so bad, why do they have the highest immigration in the world? I mean, if other socialist-leaning countries were so much better, why aren't people flocking there?

In any event, your argument is a variation of "there are worse countries". Don't you realize that is a poor argument for USA being the best country in the world?
It is like saying "South Africa is the best country in the world" because people come there from Zambia, Nigeria and Zimbabwe.
I wasn't talking about "worse countries". I was talking about America being the #1 country in the world for immigration.
Europe's numbers are more complicated because they are accessible to more countries where people are fleeing due to wars and famine based on geography. i.e. you can't drive to the US across the ocean.
So again, if healthcare, wealth-divide, crime, etc are so bad in the USA compared to more socialist countires, then why do most want to move there?

20% of the worlds immigrants choose the US, 2x more Canadians move to the US than Americans move to Canada (with 10% of the population).
North America has a lot of immigration, but so does Europe. There is probably no big difference in that poor people from 3rd world want to go to 1st world countries.
People walk throug central Amreica to go to USA, they cross the Mediterranian sea by flimsy boats to get to Europe.
