If u decide to be vacinated its your own choice , we all have been vaccinated before as a child and we dont talk about it , now if u got your 2 dose that nice but it doesnt give nothing in public and many are sick anywhoo ,people are not sick right now cause its the summer and it not related to the vaccin ,will see how good they are just before the winter went they will lock them up again
This virus has done an outstanding job of revealing the nut jobs, conspiracy theorists, armchair YouTube experts and good old fashioned idiots in our midst.
And ? Why they need to tell this ? Some other country got those 2 dose and they are back lock down ...Not so sure why the media need to make so much pressure on the population ..
For these places, the infections are mainly the delta variant, more contagious, and mainly spreading through the non-vaccinated population. No need to put pressure for people to get vaccinated?
The medias aren't putting pressure, they're saying "Open your eyes, here's what's happening, wake up and get fully vaccinated so we can all get out of this shit."
Those covid vaccines don't make most people immune, only more resistant and less sick if infected. Once vaccinated, most people's body handle the covid like a weak or mild case of flu.
Same as flu, some will feel nothing if infected but some will still die. The difference is, with a vaccine, a lower viral load means less risk of spreading the disease and less risk of strong symptoms.
The longer people wait to get vaccinated, no matter the reason, the more time the virus have to adapt and create new variants that will bypass the current vaccines. Right now, the current vaccines do have an appreciable effect on the current variants so, the more they are used, the more chances their protective effects will outrun the virus, the faster the virus will run out of victims to infect.
Regarding countries like Israel and the UK experiencing an increase in infections, the hospitalization/mortality rates are much lower even allowing for the usual lag time, and most of the serious cases found are among unvaccinated people. You're much less likely to get the disease at all, and even if you do it will almost certainly be mild*. It's a no-brainer to me.
* There's evidence that some people with severe immune deficiencies or on certain types of drugs aren't responding well to the vaccines. Those people have a long road ahead, I think.

The anti-vax crowd now seems to have become connected to the political culture of the USA, i.e. The Right vs. The Left. Before this, the anti-vax crowd seemed to be largely well-distributed among both of the political groups. Some of the earliest anti-vaxxers were prototypical Lefties like Jenny McCarthy, Bill Maher, Robert F. Kennedy, etc. But now it's become part of the political culture, and it's been more heavily adopted by The Right. Yet there are still quite a few on The Left who are part of it, usually hippy-dippy types, like overgrown Flower Children.
As such we're starting to see the same sort of thing among Canada's Left and Right, most of the anti-vax sentiment seems to be now coming from the Right. A lot of it is now a way to "stick it to the libs". Canadian politics is less polarized, but I'm sure you're going to find a correlation between Left-wing and Right-wing politics here too. In the US, you'll see 40% not taking the Covid vax, and 60% taking it, it's likely the same correlation of their political views. Here in Canada, if we go with the same stats, then we'll see 80% uptake and 20% rejection of the vax program.

Scientists and medical professionals in this country spend their entire live in service to their field. To question their knowledge because you read something on facebook, or saw a youtube video is just depressing to me.
Everybody has their own choice in life, so whatever. But damn. A Canadian anti-vaxxer is just about the most crazy thing I would have ever thought of. If you think your immune system is strong enough to overcome every virus, bacteria, fungus etc, I don't know what to tell you about human history. Major portions of humans have been saved by vaccines. And they will continue to be in the future despite the anti-vax insanity. Millions of people died of the spanish flu, black plague, etc and stopped dying in large numbers because of vaccines. NOT a miraculous immune response without medical intervention.
