I once saw some high level Ukrainian officials eating donuts.

So the obvious conclusion is that...

donuts really are awesome and their awesomeness can bring people together.

I mean what other conclusion could one come to. Right?

German surface-to-air missiles plus the U.S. Patriot missiles have
inflicted lethal air defence against Russian air attacks on Ukrainian
soldiers. With Russian air attacks forced to be held back Ukrainian
soldiers can now kill one Russian soldier at a cost of anywhere
between 2 to 10 Ukrainian casualties. Just a wild-ass guess.

You need to speak with Dutchie and play wargames so you can also be an expert and not just throw out wild-ass guesses.

Since I am no expert and I don't intend to be one I hope throwing
out wild-ass guesses which I won't pass as facts is acceptable.

As usual Putin is targeting civilians as a record number of Russian drones were bombing more civilian infrastructures than ever.
Putin is warning Ukraine not to attack Crimea. Well, Ukraine has every right to take back what was stolen from them!!

What are the reasons for this guess? Do you have any? And if you don't, why do you think your "wild-ass guess" should be relevant to anyone? And why do you think it's relevant to you even?

My wild ass guess would be based on experience, training, and 2nd hand knowledge directly from people who are there, and I'd be surprised if either side is even sitting at 2:1, let alone 10:1.

The invasion of Iraq rewrote the textbook in many areas. The air war was particularly well done. To any actual professional student of military strategy, it was a brilliant masterpiece. Hypersonic cruise missiles and stealth aircraft completely shut down Iraq's ability to field any air resistance, and we witnessed spectacularly rapid air supremacy, which is next level beyond air superiority. We then watched more cruise missiles combined with overpowering, unrestricted close-air-support with precision-guided munitions grind Iraq's resistance into dust. Rolling artillery barrages allowed boots on the ground to execute perfect bounding overwatch and armour moved in to execute flawless ring of steel defensive operations whenever the tempo had a pause.

Do you know what ratio was achieved there? 55:1. But you really think Russia is achieving all 1/5th of that success? Forget air supremacy, they don't have air superiority. Forget close air support, they can barely bring artillery to bear. And you even admit even their terror attacks lobbing missiles at parks, schools, hospitals, and apartment buildings are being thwarted by air defense. In what possible world do you think that translates to 10:1???

What technology do you think Russia has that's giving them an advantage? Which strategic genius is masterminding all this to be able to pull that off? Or is it something else? I'm really dying to know where you get your numbers from and what possible reason you have to think they're accurate. And if there is no reasons, why are you even bothering to express a guess? What's that point?

Wild ass guesses are pretty useless.
I could easily say I guess that Ukraine I am wild guessing is recruiting 1 million soldiers from Japan, and we all know what happened in 1905, it's just a wild ass guess. It adds nothing to the discussion
But then again I actually have video proof which nobody can debunk because it's TRUE

Wild ass guess but I figure if I have an extra large milk shake from McDs for Breakfast and lunch and a sensible differ of 2 double macs, a large fry and a large coke with a 6 pack of donuts I'll lose weight... or at least that's what those commercials say.

1: I saw some pro Ukraine sources suggest something like a 5 to 1 or 8 to 1 in favour of Ukraine and I just shook my head in disgust. Sort of my reaction to predictions 10 to 1 for Russia.

2: Spoilers dude, I got the 4th volume of Lessons of Modern War, Gulf War from the book suppository and I haven't gotten to that 900 page slogfest yet. Ghah!
Just teasing. [I did get the book, and the 2 previous volumes but I mean about the spoiler part. I am old, I remember the coverage.

Zelensky will need stronger backing to exercise the right to
recapture Crimea. I guess he may receive support from his
backers only to attack Crimea. Retaking Crimea would warrant
scaling up military aid or even NATO boots on the ground IMO.

Same opinion that says Ukraine might be doing 1:10? Gonna ignore that then.

I've had the distinct impression that support to Ukraine has been designed to enable it to defend and retake it's sovereign territory, and that Crimea has always been part of that goal.

But why NATO boots on the ground? NATO is a defensive organization and no NATO member has been attacked. The only other time NATO can/should get involved is major humanitarian crisis where political pressure has failed and armed forces are needed, like genocide.

It is a WGA alright, and not a very good one. If Ukrainians are on the offensive (as they claim), they're taking at lest 3-1 casualties.

Why not buy a ticket to Kiev? You can give us updates from the trenches. We need honest reports on the Ukrainian blitzkrieg.
