This entire situation is ridiculous. We are all forgetting they innocent people are dead in both sides. No need to continue to bomb and kill civilians there must be a better way.

"Innocent" civilians bear some responsibility for the leaders they empower. Hamas is the elected government of Gaza. Gazans have done nothing to remove them from power, and most Gazans support the terrorist tactics of Hamas. This is a war. There will be civilian casualties. Although, unlike Hamas, that will not be the objective of the Israelis.

Civilians who truly do not want to be seen as supporting Hamas have been warned to evacuate. Able bodied citizens who choose not to are either insane, wish to martyr themselves, or are acting in support of Hamas.

Not in the least. Israel has been doing this in staggering numbers and for 50 plus years. In recognized violations of the Geneva Convention.
The Palestinians are fighting for their freedom. Israel is simply attempting to steal land, practice apartheid and achieve Jewish supremacy.

I am not advocating the targeting of civilians in war. That's CLEARLY not what I said. I am saying that civilians will be among the casualties, and that civilians bear some responsibility for this war, and thus, the casualties.

Also, the Russian people ARE capable of removing their leaders, democratically or not. They have done so before. All it would take is a new leader to organize them. So, yes, the Russian people also share responsibility for the actions of Putin, and if war were to visit Russian soil, civilian casualties would be partly the responsibility of Russian citizens.

The difference is Israel at least makes an effort to avoid civilian deaths.

The residents of Gaza have no more sway over Hamas than an average Mexican has over the cartel in his community who threatens his and his family's life if he doesn't keep his head down.
